I am happy to know that the Alumini Association of College of Nursing, Kottayam is starting its website. Starting of a website is an important milestone in the history of the alumni association. It sets the stage for divulging informations of all sorts to members in any part of the world. Through this media the members can get connected with the Alma mater and with one another. Greetings to all the proud alumni of Govt College of Nursing Kottayam In the last 28 years of its existence I happened to be an executive member of the association continuously right from its formation, only because alumni of this college was a hard to find specimen in this country. In the first few batches most of the old students went out of the country , a trend which continues even today. The long association with our organisation is something which is dear and rewarding. I am sure everyone who is involved with it shares same opinion. I thank all alumni members who contributed to formation and existence of this association and request your continued support in future.

I feel proud to address all of you on behalf of the Alumni Association of our Alma Mater who made us to stand on our own legs. I still remember the warm relationships we had among ourselves which helped us to overcome all the hardships of in a new Government Nursings College during eighties.I am sure many of you still remember your mentors and College of Nursing Kottayam. We ,the alumni, with pride and pleasure look at the growth of our Alma Mater to a research centre in Nursing. I wish to invite all the alumni of Govt CNK to come together for good causes. Remember wherever we are working, in whatever capacities we work, we are all children of CNK. We all should feel proud of our Alma Mater.
